Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally.  Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio.  We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and execute Non-Deal Roadshows and other Corporate Access Events.
  • Heavy logistical coordination, including, but not limited to, hotels, ground transportation, private air, commercial air and conference/private events
  • Consistent contact with corporate management teams; must be able to balance Investor Relations’ objectives with investor demands; must be professional, responsive and polite in difficult circumstances
  • Monitor NDR and various event schedules to ensure they are coming together while keeping ongoing dialogue corporate client and research analysts 
  • Responsible for assisting onsite at Investor Conferences and serve as back up conference coordinator when needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Institutional Sales & Trading, Research, Banking, Meeting & Events and other areas of the firm pertinent to the role
  • Effective management of budgets and expense reconciliation
  • Provide back up to team on various events and inbound requests
  • Candidate will be expected to adapt to a changing environment and respond accordingly
  • Travel to conferences when needed

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: capital markets, investment banking or industry-specific sector; or a PhD in quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, or engineering obtained by date of hire; or MBA; or 6+ years of former military experience

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working on a corporate access team including heavy logistical coordination
  • Experience with Dealogic, Ipreo, & CRM
  • Accessible and responsive at all times; tasks and requests by client often happen outside of normal business hours - must be available to respond accordingly
  • Work intelligently and ensure that Managers are quickly aware of problems or issues
  • Strict and accurate adherence to company’s policies, especially related to expenses
  • Adaptability to situations and ever changing demands

  • A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress
