About the position

Prudential International Insurance (PII) continues to be one of Prudential's fastest growing and most profitable business groups. PII has operations in twelve countries around the world (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, China, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Mexico, Poland, and Italy). The VP, Human Resources will lead will lead implementation of a Global Human Capital System (HCM) internationally (excluding Japan). The position will report to VP, Lead HR Business Partner International with a dotted line reporting to the Program Executive responsible for global rollout. The position will have overall responsibility for directing and managing activities related to system implementation including developing regional strategy and its execution, stakeholder management, transformation and change management, and project management.  This critical role will maintain strategic partnerships with the global HCM system implementation team, regional implementation team, regional HR business partners, Company HR Heads and the business to ensure successful implementation. In addition, this role will assess resource requirements at various stages of system implementation, identify issues proactively and facilitate appropriate solutions, and lead risk assessments.   Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • PHR/SPHR desired
  • Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience in a Center of Excellence / HR Business Partner role supporting business unit(s) on various aspects of HR domain
  • Experience in leading complex transformation initiatives
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Strong leadership skills and executive presence
  • Strategic change management expertise – endure high volume of change and advocate for change
  • Strategic mindset - ability to engage in detailed discussions while linking back to the big picture and broader vision
  • Clear and concise communication skills

  • Ability to travel 25% of time globally
