Vice President of Product Management, Planning Experience

About the position

We are looking for a Product Management executive with a passion for creating solutions that help customers achieve their life goals. The selected candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in direct to consumer financial services or similar industry. The person will create end to end customer experiences and will be instrumental in shaping and executing the product vision for Prudential’s digital platform.

This leadership role requires a cross-functional customer centric view into Prudential’s business units. The right person will have good mix of understanding the intricacies of personal finance financial services products and creating an engaging customer experience to deliver increased revenue and cost efficiency for Prudential.

Qualifications

·        10+ years of Product Management experience in internet enabled businesses

·         6+ years of which in management roles with direct reports and multiple parallel projects

·         Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products

·         Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others in a highly collaborative environment

·         Proven experience in gathering and transforming customer/business needs into an actionable product roadmap, and product roadmaps into product requirements

·         Understanding of customer transactions and communication, operational work flows, internet technologies, as well as development methodology for a complex multi-business environment

·         Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations

·         Experience using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies is a huge plus

·         Experience in direct to consumer financial services companies, with planning experience and/or a CFP, a huge plus
