We are seeking a strong leader to join the Marketing Operations & Analytics organization within the Customer Office at Prudential. To be successful, the individual must have a strong work ethic, possess attention to detail, be highly flexible, demonstrate strong project management discipline and have experience building customer marketing capabilities. The individual should be able to ‘get in the weeds’ while also being able to think ‘big-picture’, with a constant focus on driving meaningful outcomes by building new foundational capabilities for marketing. This position will report to the Head of Marketing Ops & Analytics, and will provide a high level of autonomy and exposure to senior leadership within the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build & lead a team that focuses on key strategic capabilities that enable marketing to our prospects & customers

  • Own the Martech stack for Customer Office and develop roadmap for short-term & long-term platform enhancements

  • Set the vision for marketing capabilities & anticipate future needs to plan and execute building of new tools and processes

  • Lead & execute high visibility projects focused on understanding customer behaviors and identifying opportunities for improving and optimizing customer experiences

  • Lead Prudential’s new Personalization Platform that customizes user experience across channels and interactions

  • Lead the implementation & usage of DMP (Data Management Platform) to effectively manage 3rd party data for marketing

  • Thought leader for key strategic initiatives across the Customer Office (example: Marketing Offer Engine, Marketing Automation)

  • Develop strong relationships with cross functional teams driving effective collaboration across Product, Technology & Marketing

  • Serve as an ambassador for a fast-paced, technology-enabled, customer-centric financial services work environment



  • Bachelor’s Degree. MBA or Business degree a plus

  • 10 + years experience in digitally enabled businesses

  • Solid prior experience in marketing capabilities and automation. Prior experience in building personalization/recommendation engines a strong plus

  • Strong people/project leadership and demonstrated ability to partner closely with analytics, product teams, marketing to drive outcomes for highly visible projects

  • Comfortable working with senior leaders across the organization, making recommendations & creating executive updates

  • Comfortable working with ambiguous and changing requirements and deadlines with a constant need to prioritize based on outcomes

  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team and across functions and levels of the organization.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Experience in financial services preferred; experience in the Investments, Life Insurance, Retirement or Annuities space a plus
