The primary responsibilities of this role, Venture Architect G4A Ventures, are to:   

 

  • Manage the go-to-market strategy and the venture build and the scale-up plan;
  • Maintain the coordination throughout all phases of the venture design acting as a sparring partner to the rest of the venture team members;
  • Optimize the work dynamics applying Agile and Lean methodology when appropriate;
  • Support the head of G4A Ventures, leading the digital health venture team on a daily basis, adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring an optimal integration of the different contributions of the venture team members;
  • Support the product build from the ethnographic research to the development of prototypes and a minimal viable product;
  • Support the business model assessment and the build-up of the economic models;
  • Contribute to the development of new Digital Health ventures around the solution ideas as any other member of the venture team;

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values.  More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: 

 

 Required Qualifications:  

 

  • Master’s Degree in Business, or a related field, with at least twelve years of business experience; or
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least fifteen years of business experience;
  • At least three years of working experience as a Venture Architect in different industries, ideally including digital health;
  • Proven track record of successful build-up of businesses in different industries, ideally including digital health;
  • Possess a solid understanding on design thinking and human centric design methods;
  • Proven track record of managing successful innovative projects;
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Health value chain;
  • Experience with agile development models and testing;
  • Experience in working in and leading multicultural, cross-functional teams;
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record in senior management presentations;
  • Passionate, flexible, perseverance, strategic intrapreneur, proactive creative thinker, determined, able to manage ad hoc situations, high mobility, and an overall dynamic individual with a passion for Life Science, Digital Health and technological advancements to improve human life.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or Design.
