University Recruitment Program Manager (1804664) - Florham Park, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens…

The University Recruitment Program Manager (URPM) is responsible for managing several University Recruitment programs with oversight of 30-40 program participants. In addition to oversight of such programs participants, you will have general manager responsibilities and provide leadership development opportunities. You will design, implement and continuously reevaluate PDP/LDP programs on a 3-year cycle to ensure that strategic objectives of the program support the needs of each business or function program supports. You will also design and employ an alumni retention strategy for ongoing engagement post program graduation. You will lead steering committees comprised of North America Leadership team members in their respective program areas of expertise driving enterprise wide changes through University Recruitment Programs.

Formula for Success:

Leveraging your demonstrated success and strong record of accomplishments in HR and recruiting talent, you will:

  • Strategically assess and secure key high-potential talent for rotational programs, ensuring assignment leaders engage and motivate rotated talent with highly productive and challenging cross functional growth opportunities
  • Generate new and innovative approaches based on business needs, feedback, innovative thinking and research.
  • In partnership with Learning Excellence and Development ensure rotated talent has the most advantageous stakeholder and business exposure, enhancing their growth and expansion of skillsets and to track program graduates’ nominations
  • Organize forecasting/workforce analysis to adopt a balanced approach to demand and supply planning
  • Optimize BASF brand presence at campus recruiting events and National Diversity Conferences in support of program recruiters to ensure collection of talent data in Avature and robust participation and candidate interest, in order to hire the best for BASF
  • Implement exceptional and impactful coaching and development of LDP/PDPs preparation for program graduations
  • Deliver monthly program leader calls to ensure effective assignment manager leadership expectations
  • Cultivate and retain high potential talent via enriching experiences and challenges through coaching, training, programs, frameworks, toolkits etc.
  • Leading quarterly stakeholder meetings with the sharing of program reviews and participant progress updates
  • Preserving the knowledge of best practices through highly engaged participation with national leaders such as NACE, Career X Roads, LDP Summit, etc.
