Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. Enterprise Information Security’s (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargo’s infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Security Content Development (SCD) within Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Relationship Manager for facilitating the relationship between SCD and all lines of business/CIO areas by facilitating the delivery of Cyber Security and Corporate Risk project requirements. This TRM will share responsibility in supporting the team in several areas, specifically project workflow, project management, vendor management, and management of engineering initiatives. This TRM will act as single point of contact for new data onboarding and continuous quality improvement service delivery requirements from solution planning to sizing/estimating to fulfillment. Ensures service quality and cost-effectiveness of solutions. Monitors high profile projects to ensure requests are met on time and within sizing, keeping all parties informed of impacts and changes. Maintains regular contact with LOBs, CIO areas, Corporate Risk, and SCD management. Conducts research and analysis of competitive market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory/compliance issues, and implications of new implementations. This role will be accountable for developing workflows, processes, and documenting the status to support management initiatives.

This technology relationship manager will partner with Cyber Threat Fusion Center, Information Security Line of Business leaders, Corporate Risk, other Cyber Threat Management managers, platform centers of excellence teams, QA teams, and development teams to data quality engineering requirements in scope are planned, resourced, initiated, and completed successfully. Incumbents are knowledgeable of the company's various systems and processes supporting data quality management.

The Technology Relationship Manager – Data Quality Engineering, will:

  • Manage relationships with Cyber Security area partners, LOB partners, vendors, and the Cyber Threat Fusion Center
  • Facilitate new feed onboarding and quality improvement engineering deliverables to all partners
  • Assist with communicating SCD program information to various levels of personnel in security, technology, and business areas
  • Organize, prepare deliverables, and run various meetings for the Security Content Development – Data Quality Engineering teams
  • Provide occasional on-call problem resolution escalation for Enterprise Availability Coordination Office (EACO) in a 24x7 environment as required
  • Assist with SCD engineering escalation and problem resolution as required
  • Interact with direct reports, partners, peer managers, and mid to senior level management, to drive successful completion of testing scope, awareness of Security Content Development Services, and to facilitate continual process improvement. This will cross all lines of business.
  • Actively participate on improving the security culture and education throughout the organization.
  • Meet with and provide updates to EIS management on issues and status regarding the Security Content Development programs
  • Prepare other ad hoc management level and audit material/documentation as required
  • Establish understanding of and enforce Enterprise Information Security policies

Note: This position can sit in any core Wells Fargo location or telecommute.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with a client organization
  • 5+ years of information security experience
  • 1 + years of experience with network security, endpoint security, or security threat vectors

Desired Qualifications

  • Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations and medium-sized internal lines of business
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of data security controls including malware protection, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, content filtering, Internet proxies, encryption controls, and log management solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of malware reverse engineering including: code or behavior analysis for endpoints and the network
  • Experience analyzing large data sets

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 5+ years of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM/SIM/SEM) experience
  • 2+ years of Regular Expression (regex) experience
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Hands-on experience with information security tools such as an enterprise SIEM solution, IDS/IPS, endpoint security solutions, email/web security gateways, and other security detection/mitigation devices
  • Experience with host-based and/or network-based forensics tools and techniques
  • Experience with host and/or network log analysis as applied to incident response / threat hunting
  • Familiarization with multiple database platforms
  • Knowledge of offensive security, with the ability to think like an adversary when hunting and responding to incidents
  • Strong ability to identify anomalous behavior on endpoint devices and/or network communications
  • Strong experience in operating system and application security hardening and best practices
  • Strong investigative mindset with an attention to detail
  • Experience with multiple operating systems to include Windows, Mac OS, and Unix/Linux
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide written and verbal communications to management to address real-time issues and incidents, including writing formal incident reports
  • Advanced problem solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems
  • Certifications in one or more of the following: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Network Forensics Analyst (GNFA), Offensive Security (OSCP/OSCE/etc), or other relevant certifications.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
