Transaction Advisory Services Senior Manager

The opportunity EY’s Working Capital Advisory Services (WCAS) group is the largest group of dedicated specialists in cash and working capital in the world. WCAS helps our clients by identifying, evaluating and prioritizing actionable improvements to liberate significant cash from working capital. We assist organizations in their transition to a cash-focused culture. WCAS identifies areas for improvement in cash flow optimization and forecasting practices and then assists in implementing processes to improve cash management and create the frameworks to sustain those improvements. Your key responsibilities As a Senior Manager in the Working Capital Advisory Services group you will be a vital member of the team leading and executing projects designed to help liberate significant cash from working capital. It will be your job to work with companies to identify cash flow improvement opportunities and help your clients implement changes to their processes and policies to achieve sustainable cash flow improvement. Senior Managers on our team typically work with executive resources at our clients, lead one or several work-streams on larger engagements, and manage staff. Skills and attributes for success
  • Project Management - lead project teams comprising of colleagues from across the TAS sub service lines.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science and 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Significant M&A management consulting experience.
  • Track record of delivering performance improvement projects related to supply chain/inventory optimization, sourcing/procurement or sales/accounts receivable that deliver tangible results (cost reduction, increased cash flow, etc.).
  • Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytic mindset and familiarity with common analytics tools: Excel, MS Access, Spotfire/Tableau, etc..
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% on short notice.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
  • Lean Six Sigma or PMP certifications.
