Transaction Advisory Services Manager

The opportunity We work on the most complex and high profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in operations who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people. Working directly with both client and internal team leaders, this technical role presents an opportunity to have a large impact on our cloud platform and strategy and fuel our clients’ success. Collaboration is a must as this role depends on interactions with generalists and specialists across client and EY delivery teams, as well as peer teams in software development. Your key responsibilities As a Manager in OTS you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing operational focused projects. As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for working with a team to lead the design of the Capital Edge product, a strategic EY software platform that implements the Transaction Advisory Service (TAS) mergers and acquisitions methodology and provides EY practitioners with the tools they need to lead successful and efficient engagements. Engaging with our most important clients and global client-serving consulting groups to ensure solutions are designed, built, and deployed successfully both private-cloud and on Azure hosting. To qualify for the role you must have
  • 5+ years of experience in building/shipping cloud-based products and services.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technology-focused or Engineering-related discipline.
  • Deep technical knowledge of cloud architecture and services (PaaS and IaaS) primarily on Azure.
  • Expertise in one or more core Cloud technologies including:
    • Compute
    • Storage
    • Networking
    • Big Data
    • Services
    • Cloud Edge
  • Familiarity with relevant languages and tools including .NET, Angular, Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM, Open Source, etc.
  • Implementation experience with various application/solution migration strategies (i.e. on premise datacenters to public cloud).
  • Proven project experience (successes, failures) leveraging Agile Program Management.
