Transaction Advisory Services Manager

As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people. Your key responsibilities As a Manager in OTS you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing operational focused projects. OTS has solutions for clients to structure, quantify and implement complex financial decisions including acquisitions, strategic options, investment appraisal, contract evaluation and program assessment. As a Sr. Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering rich, highly-visual and insightful analyses, reports and dashboards that engagement teams will use to support the EY Transaction Advisory Service (TAS) mergers and acquisitions methodologies. This role will work closely with client delivery, engagement teams and clients. Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science, or related field, required. Advanced degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of Business Intelligence experience and demonstrated history of SQL, SSIS, SSAS and/or SSRS experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% on short notice.

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or TIBCO Spotfire.
  • Previous experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
