This key role is within the EE&MS (Enterprise Endpoint & Mobility Services) team and will be responsible for managing relationships with global business and technology teams to deliver the enterprise virtual desktop experience. The product manager will act as the primary point of contact for business leaders, and will collaborate with the appropriate technology teams to deliver ideal solutions. This strategic role will help influence technology direction by applying requirement gathering skills, experience collaborating with multiple technology areas, and providing guidance to the business on how they can leverage new technology. Ideal candidates will have experience managing products and services within a large technology team, and is able to ensure service quality and the cost-effectiveness of those solutions. A successful candidate will also be responsible for demand planning and financial forecasting for the service, and have experience optimizing capabilities that will provide long term benefit.

Specific job duties include:

  • Primary business contact for the LIVE Client service (end user virtualization)
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into technical requirements
  • Acts as liaison between business and technology teams to develop strategic solutions
  • Excellent communicator responsible for inter-team communication, and product management
  • Develop process improvements and optimize inter-team collaboration
  • Build and maintain service relationships between business and technology teams
  • Develop and maintain service demand plan and forecasting

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with a client organization
  • 5+ years of information technology experience
  • 3+ years of process improvement experience
  • 1+ year of virtualization technologies experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations and medium to large internal lines of business
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of service level agreement process
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of end user virtualization technologies and usage within the industry
  • Working knowledge of agile project management practices
  • Understanding of automation and its ability to improve process and user experience
  • Experience working virtually with a globally diverse engineering and business relationship team
  • Ability to work in highly technical environments and understand potential impacts to the business
  • Highly motivated and able to function in a rapidly changing business and technology environment
