Posting Job Description What part will you play

We are currently seeking a Talent and Revenue Insights Analyst for the Machinima Business Intelligence department. This individual will be responsible for using behavioral and social data (Facebook insights, YouTube, Twitter) to help Machinima’s Talent Management, Finance, Marketing Services and Business Development teams forecast revenue, create optimal talent deal structures, create optimal business development deal structures, and create scalable tool sets to help network talent increase viewership.This individual will have a special focus on the Chinese market. Specifically, the responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering weekly sales and revenue forecasts, with analysis of key drivers of growth and decline.
  • Identifying top-performing network talent, and identify talent likely to perform well.
  • Running deep dive YouTube/Facebook channel analysis to aid with content development.
  • Providing social media audience analysis as needed.
  • Creating sales mid-campaign and post-campaign wrap-up reports.
  • Coordinating with data engineering team to ensure data sets are optimized for reporting, and define new data sets needed.   
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics or related field.
  • 2 - 5 years analytics experience at a media or entertainment company.
