Supervisor, Nursing Clinical Support

As the Supervisor, Nursing Clinical Support you are responsible for monitoring and ensuring the clinical support staff completes their assignments within the nursing team to meet internal and external customer needs. We're looking for a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, time management skills, and proficient computer skills.

- You will apply appropriate ethical, legal, confidentiality, and advocacy principles to the planning and delivery of patient care.

- You will develop and recommend changes as necessary to ensure effective and efficient communication among infusion team.

- You will lead the implementation and evaluation of new and existing processes.

- You will execute plans of action to achieve clinical department goals.

- You will ensure successful communication occurs to the primary nurse case managers regarding schedule changes, schedule confirmation, authorization tracking, and new start of care assignments.

- You will monitor team activities that ensure timely follow up with nurses and agencies on completion of nursing-related documentation and plan of treatment orders according to Coram policies and procedures.

- You will support the territory management plan and push the team to utilize the territory management plan in collaboration with the Nurse Manager/Supervisor.

- You will respond to customer inquiries and resolves patient complaints. (Customer is internal and external). Communicates timely issues that require a nurse or pharmacist.

- You will document all communications in the patient clinical chart and obtains co-signatures from a nurse or pharmacist that relate to patient care.

- You will retrieve on-call messages each morning and reviews on-call printout at the daily morning meeting.

- You will supervise the activities of subordinate staff.

- You will provide direction and guidance in work assignments.

- You will provide timely coaching and feedback to staff.

- You will make certain assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.

- You will hire, coach, and conduct performance appraisals.

- You will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required Qualifications- 3+ years related experience with 1+year of supervisory experience or demonstrated record of progressive responsibilities or achievements.Preferred QualificationsSee required qualificationsEducation- Bachelors Degree preferred.
