Burbank Television Enterprises is looking for a Supervisor, Marketing for the Worldwide TV Marketing - Programming Scripted Marketing department. This position develops marketing strategies, promotional video content and social assets for WBTV broadcast and network partners. This person will engage with social influencers to target specific audiences and shows. This position will also analyze creation of assets, its uses and general success, and handle production shoots and associated logistics.
  • Develops unique and effective marketing strategies to maximize ratings of WBTV shows. Creates all promotional video content and weekly social assets for domestic and international broadcast and network partners. Pitches new and original concepts to department VP and Publicity teams. Writes copy for branded content projects and social assets.
  • Works closely with the international team to research effective content pieces across numerous territories. Converts two versions of layered/split/textless branded content pieces and distributes to international partners.     
  • Engages with social influencers to target specific audiences and shows. Collaborates with them to develop mutually beneficial social media posts and campaigns. Works directly with show publicists to coordinate and execute pilot-related schedules and activities.       
  • Researches project concepts and determines efficiencies for budgets, talent availability, production schedules, current storylines and trending social performances. Coordinates logistics of original shoot production, including all aspects between pre- and post-.      
  • Tracks and analyzes total amount of assets created on all social media platforms - domestic and international. Maintains the branded content budget by processing, tracking and following up on invoices, POs, work orders.
  • In conjunction with the Franchise Director, works between WB Animation, producers, network sales teams, production programming, standards and WBTV Executive groups on both on- and off-air marketing extensions. Coordinates with agencies to execute and deliver on franchise marketing strategies and partnerships with top brands.     
What do we require from you?
  • Approximately 2 – 4 years’ experience in a digital media company, producing digital and social content.
  • Keen interest in digital marketing, television marketing, and a passion for social media. 
  • Must be a creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences.
  • Advanced working knowledge and experience with current audio/video editing hardware and software, (AVID, Final Cut ProX, and Adobe Premier.)
  • Advance working knowledge of current industry standard audio/video file and tape formats (.avi, .wav, .rm, .wmv, .mpg, .dv, .pst, Beta SP, Digital Beta, MiniDV, DVCAM, HD, etc.)
  • Experience with audio/video production and post-production utilizing current technologies including live streaming.
  • Experience with digital new media and/or broadcast media production, and creating gifs across all digital and social media platforms.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and college degree in related field required.
