Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Financial Reporting for the Financial Reporting department. Position is responsible for performing activities related to the analysis and consolidation of the worldwide actual and budgeted results of the companies comprising the Warner Bros. and reporting those results to senior management, outside agencies and Time Warner.
  • Oversees and participates in various elements of the following consolidation and reporting activities (actual and forecasted results):                                                      
    • Preparation of senior management financial analysis reporting.
    • Preparation of detail foreign exchange analysis and reporting.
    • Review and record elimination entries ensuring correct reporting in the various reporting views, including management, by-title and legal entity.
    • Responsible for overseeing accuracy of financial reports generated by SAP / BW.
    • Responsible for analysis and reporting of certain P&L line items.
    • Compilation, analysis and presentation of footnote and MD&A data for Time Warner 10Q/10K reporting.
    • Assist in resolution of business unit queries regarding process and treatment.
    • Evaluates the quality and accuracy of submitted financial data, including resolution of any issues, if necessary.
    • Execution of monthly and quarterly financial statement closes, including preparation and presentation of related deliverables.
    • Participates in various elements of legal entity/third party reporting.
  • Creation and management of various management/financial statement reports utilized both within Financial Reporting and by executive management:                    
    • Assist in reporting and analysis of special requests from the offices of the CFO, CAO, FP&A and other executives.
    • Reviews and tests the impact of master data changes/hierarchy changes from an analytical view point to ensure proper reporting.
  • Other special Projects as required (including system upgrade testing and reporting changes as a result of mergers and acquisitions).        
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor degree required, CPA preferred
  • 4+ years applicable experience, ideally a combination of public accounting and private industry
  • Proficiency with Excel required, SAP/BW strongly preferred
  • Competent in preparing presentation quality documents and executive level summaries
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement preparation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
