You will support One MD source categories in leading an overall cost management data integration and analytical tool project that will serve as a foundational system / tool for sourcing managers in driving sourcing and CIP strategies and overall cost management for One MD spend.

  • Lead cost management data integration and data base / analytical tool project
  • Create detailed business requirements and/or user stories, functional specification and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, users and technical resources to ensure that the system design adequately reflects the business requirements and customer needs
  • Defined goals, scope and timeline for project
  • Lead cross functional team to plan, build, launch cost management tool
  • Lead the integration of data from Source, Finance, Cost Modeling, and Plan into centralized cost management data base tool.  Maintain integrity of tool post deployment.
  • Lead cleansing of data to improve accuracy of data integrated into centralized cost management data base
  • Ensure data in cost management data base is aligned with that of Planning, CGM and Finance teams
  • Create customized templates, dashboards and scorecards for developing web part pages for the portal using Sharepoint portal server in support of Source category needs
  • Lead updates of cost management data updates required by category teams in Tableau reporting
  • Create communication and governance process for needed changes to ensure accurate and real-time cost management data base for One MD Source team.
  • Create and maintain supplier price transparency centralized data base and analytics tool for Source Category teams
  • Conduct training sessions and classes for users to educate them on the tool developed by the team after deployment

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Business Administration.  An Advanced degree is preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related business experience is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Sourcing experience is preferred
  • Experience with data migration and cleansing is required
  • Working knowledge with a broad range of technologies, including MS business process tools, technical assessment tools, and data modeling and design is required
  • Expertise with the following systems are preferred:
    • Reporting tools – Tableau, Cognos, OBIEE, SSRS, ETL – Altryx
    • Modeling tools – MS Visio, MS Studio, ERStudio
    • Programming languages – SQL, PL/SQL
    • Database: Teradata, DB2
    • Rational Tools 
  • Training and/or certification in ISM / APICS / Project Management / Process Excellence is preferred
  • Effective knowledge of Purchasing Controls procedures, Purchasing Systems, Financial Statements, and Supply Chain strategy considerations is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, relational, and communication skill to align with key stakeholders & partners and lead a cross functional team is required
  • Ability to handle multiple task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and user needs is required
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and/or internationally
