What part will you play? 
 
The Senior Marketing Manager is a critical role at truTV. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Marketing, this motivated and passionate individual will work on all aspects of development and execution of marketing launch campaigns. They will oversee multi-platform media campaigns to promote the truTV brand and its shows.
 
What will you be doing?  

 
  • Manage planning and execution of multiple high-impact marketing campaigns including all paid media (TV, OOH, digital video and display, social media, print, radio/podcasts, search), social/digital activations, promotion across earned and owned efforts (partnerships, EST, VOD) and large-scale industry and consumer activations (Premiere Events, Emmys, Comic-Con, Festivals).
  • Translate approved marketing objectives into campaigns; monitors for consistency of strategy and messaging
  • Provide strategy, feedback, and updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead inter-departmental meetings and produce and pitch marketing materials: decks, one-sheets, project briefs
  • Develop productive and collaborative relationships with on-air, operations, PR, scheduling, digital/social, research, and legal teams to elevate and maximize campaigns
  • Guide day-to-day workflow and long-term growth of assistant manager
  • Manage budgets and timelines for all projects; create POs and oversee invoicing for the team
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate laterally as well as up and down within the company
  • Supervise strategy and asset delivery for awards submissions
  • Identify and onboard/brief new partners and vendors
 
What do we require from you?
 
  • 5-7 years' progressive marketing experience
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability; able to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Superb written and oral communication skills and social media savvy
  • Must be able to both ideate and execute; think creatively and strategically
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field of study preferred
  • Knowledge and appreciation of comedy and pop culture landscape a plus
