Senior Sales Support Specialist

About the position

QMA targets superior risk-adjusted returns by combining research-driven quantitative processes built on economic and behavioral foundations with judgment from experienced market practitioners. An independent boutique backed by the capabilities of one of the world’s largest asset managers, QMA is the quantitative equity and global multi-asset solutions business of PGIM, the global investment management businesses of Prudential Financial, Inc. As of 3/31/2018, we manage approximately $127 billion in assets for a global client base of corporate, public and multi-employer pension plans, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds and sub-advisory accounts for leading financial services companies.


  • Support sales, marketing, clients service and product development on day-to-day needs

  • Serve as Salesforce administrator: opportunity tracking, inputting meeting notes, reporting, marketing client service requests, contact updates, etc.

  • Work on compiling data from multiple sources to craft, manage and update reports and analysis

  • Track distribution team’s key performance indicators (assets, revenue, activity, pipeline, etc.)

  • Support sales efforts through the implementation of a repeatable prospect/client segmentation and targeting methodology

  • Complete client onboarding tasks

  • Collaborate across QMA, partnering with different business lines and keeping a pulse on activities while influencing positions and initiatives

  • Provide market intelligence on investment and industry trends

  • Provide post-conference follow up as indicated by the team


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Experience working in financial services and/or asset management

  • An analytical mindset, strong project management, organizational and analytical skills

  • Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with PowerPoint

  • Ability to develop effective internal/external working relationships

  • Exhibit leadership qualities and self-confidence in one’s work

  • Ability to work under time pressure and manage competing priorities

  • Note: During peak production periods the individual may be required to work after regular work hours
