This is a project assignment for the duration of the requisite project work required, which is expected to conclude at or prior to Dec. 31, 2020 with an opportunity for extension into 2021. The Senior Project Engineer will serve as the end-to-end project leader on change projects, following-up with all projects and design control tasks from concept through full implementation.
You will:• Be responsible and accountable for end to end project management of change projects from concept to full implementation.• Be responsible for leading collaboration for project requirements and coordinating strategies within a cross functional team including Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Planning, Master Data, Engineering, and Product Management as required.• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Design Change Control Process.  • Accountable for executing Design Control documentation and execution.  Owner of Design Change Control projects through DCN Part 1 and Part 2.• Accountable for managing multiple project schedules.• Know how to successfully complete & execute ADAPTIV Change Orders.• Know & follow local Quality System policies & procedures. • Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies & procedures, for new assignments & for implementation of new policies & procedures.  Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental.• Follow all company safety policies & other safety precautions within work area.  Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.• Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.


Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Engineering or related technical degree preferred• Project Management Professional Certification is preferred• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and/or Manufacturing with project accountabilities is required• Design & Change Control experience is required• Demonstrated track record of leadership with project management is required• Must have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously• Demonstrated track record of results is required• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional stakeholders and work within a team environment is required• Customer focused with a good understanding of our customer, NPD and commercial stakeholder needs • Conflict and/or Influence Management in a matrix environment • Demonstrated understanding of the Medical Device or equivalent regulated industry, Quality Systems, labeling requirements and Change Control procedures is preferred• Proficiency with MS Office is required• Proficiency with Microsoft Projects is preferred• PLM System (ADAPTIV) and ERP System (JDE) knowledge is preferred• Proficient or capable of becoming proficient in local applications is preferred• This position will require the candidate to be located in Somerville, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
