Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (HCS) is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Innovation & Organizational Capabilities, located in Piscataway, NJ, with considerations made for other Northeast J&J Facilities, preferably within New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, or Pennsylvania.

As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for development and implementation of the innovation and organizational capabilities strategies for the CLS North America Customer Experience Organization, encompassing multiple cross-sector sites throughout the United States and Canada. You will support sites, audiences, and functional areas such as, but not limited to all CLS NA Distribution & Customer Service Centers, CLS North America Quality, North America Regional Transportation Organization and the North America Strategy & Capability Organization. You will periodically evaluate the scope of work and audiences to determine if sites or functional areas of responsibility should change.

Your supervisory responsibilities include an Instructional Designers team, as well as a Learning Management System (LMS) Supervisor who oversees a team of LMS Administrators. Your responsibilities include facilitation of escalated issues, team leadership, direction and guidance, performance and development planning, career planning, compensation planning and formal and ongoing conversations.

Specific Responsibilities:
Management of CLS NA Training Center of Excellence
• Provide support and direction for project assignments and establish a resource plan.
• Lead activities around coaching, mentoring, development, career planning and performance management for the team.
• Provide leadership to COE team members in support of achieving the training goals and objectives across all functions in CLS NA Customer Experience.
• Serve as point of contact for CLS NA Training and ensure consistency of training across the organization.
• Work with Learning Management System Team Lead to ensure appropriate compliance controls and audit readiness.
• Provide direction and insight about the required tools and reporting that are needed to drive organizational success.
Innovation
• Define an innovation strategy, roadmap and specific set of objectives.
• Identify, create and deploy Innovation programs.
• Assist with the assessment and evaluation of innovation opportunities.
• Lead and facilitate innovation workshops and trainings.
• Assess the health of the innovation program and defines plans for continuous improvement.
Organizational Capabilities
• Understand the Global Supply Chain Talent Strategy and the CLS NA strategic plan and identify current and future development training needs.
• Evaluate and engage in the change management needs of the organization.
• Work with Business Process Owners and key stakeholders to incorporate training needs into future programs to achieve critical business objectives, including the support of new technology and other strategic initiatives.
• Select appropriate level of measurement for new programs and design measurement tools.
• Analyze ROI and effectiveness of solutions, and incorporate findings into future approaches.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Training team and global cross sector Training Community of Practice groups to develop best practices and identify leverage opportunities.
• Monitor status and drive completion of training programs across the Training COE.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to all training compliance requirements, including the achievement of the training compliance goal.

Qualifications
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of eight (8) years professional experience required
• Requires people management experience
• Expertise in adult learning theory, needs assessment, curriculum design, curriculum development and training delivery preferred
• Strong e-Learning design and storyboarding preferred
• Supply Chain or Quality Management Systems experience is preferred
• Strong business partnering and cross-functional collaboration
• Project management experience required
• Lean, Six Sigma, Process excellence, or FPX training or certification is helpful
• Experience benchmarking and implementing best practices preferred
• Understanding of Quality Standards and Processes preferred
• Proven ability to succeed in an ambiguous environment
• Requires experience in innovation and/or implementing new solutions to address complex problems
• Ability to work in one of our Northeast J&J Facilities, preferably within New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, or Pennsylvania, is required
• Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
