Senior Manager, Enterprise Communications


Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Communications. The primary location for this position is in New Brunswick, NJ.

 

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Communications will develop and execute critical communication initiatives designed to improve the corporate reputation through the support and amplification of the Company's commitment to diversity and inclusion. In this role, you will have a heavy focus on advancing women’s leadership across the organization and will serve as a strategic counselor and active member of the Women’s Leadership and Inclusion Employee Resource Group. You will partner with global enterprise and sector communication teams to actively identify, drive and measure opportunities that elevate the diversity and inclusion narrative and inspire stakeholder advocacy and engagement. Additionally, this position will identify, lead and amplify external programs and partnerships that further advance the Company’s mission.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL DUTIES


Drive the reputation of Johnson & Johnson through its commitment to diversity & inclusion and build stakeholder trust/advocacy through integrated communication:

  • Develop and execute strategic communication initiatives supporting and amplifying company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, designed to improve the corporate reputation
  • Deliver results-oriented, innovative, and creative communication programs that support and amplify Corporate strategic partnerships and programs.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Strategy, Content Lab, Media Relations, Public Affairs and Workforce Communications teams in addition to priority Employee Resource Groups to ensure a comprehensive approach to and support for key initiatives and growth enablers.
  • Manage agency partners, leading the development and execution of all communication programs involving related to enterprise initiatives.
  • Lead budgets, resources and day-to- day operations
  • Develop relationships with key media, including social media influencers
  • Establish relationships with and act as liaison to key third-party influencers and external constituencies
  • Lead program specific media relations and issues management
  • Responsible for daily collaboration with key internal and external partners, including working to secure necessary approvals on programs and materials, providing updates on program progress and results.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion along with global and regional ERG teams on priority initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-sector teams to grow and amplify strategic partnerships
  • Identify and vet new partnerships and program opportunities
  • Establish program measurement goals and evaluate program results.

Drive employee engagement and advocacy through powerful organizational communication:

  • Partner with workforce communication to develop messages and implement communication efforts that inspire, engage, inform and align employees

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in communication or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories, with superior written, oral and visual communication abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complexity and instill trust
  • Executive communication experience
  • Demonstrated analytic ability
  • Deep understanding of digital and social platforms
  • Excellent judgment
  • Professional maturity and ability to work effectively across levels and functions
