The Senior Human Resources Administrative Assistant, Consumer North America position has varied responsibilities including:
• Responsible for the execution of HR administration tasks for the Head of HR NA Consumer Commercial and Head of HR Global R&D Consumer. This position will report to the Head of HR NA Consumer Commercial. • This position manages complex administrative duties and project-oriented assignments requiring the use of sound judgment and discretion, independent assessment and resolution of complex situations/problems. • Leading project work including: talent Management, diversity efforts, organization design, employee engagement, succession planning, employee recognition and cultural projects across R&D and commercial.• Duties will also include: managing calendars, scheduling meetings, planning travel, prepare presentations, coordinating HR community meetings, HR and site Credo events, administration of the NA Eagle Awards program, administrative support to NA Leadership Forums, managing the HR leadership team agendas, and support routine employee and leadership inquiries to the team. • May respond to routine correspondence under own signature or draft response for HR leader’s review on more complex correspondence. • Follows up on items delegated to others by HR Leaders. Screens calls and responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions. • Must have ability to make last-minute changes to calendar due to shifting priorities. • Must successfully collaborate with other assistants in different parts of and at different levels in the organization. • Must often make decisions without prior approval from assigned leaders. Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills are required in order to coordinate with other administrative staff to accomplish departmental activities. • Will also be responsible for co-ordination and admin support of key HR initiatives.

• A minimum of a High School diploma is required; an Associate’s Degree is preferred.

• Pursuit of an online degree with an HR focus is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of administrative experience is required.

• Experience in human resources is preferred.

• Experience with talent management, diversity efforts, organization design, employee engagement, succession planning, and/or employee recognition is preferred.

• Strong project coordination and project management experience is preferred.

• Ability to partner and work cooperatively with all levels of the organization is required.

• Strong calendar management and meeting scheduling, dealing with multiple time zones, is required.

• Fluency in administrative skills and software programs including PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.

• Familiarity and comfort using internal systems for travel, purchase orders, service request management and internal portals is required.

• Being technically and digitally savvy is required, with ability to utilize social media and internal digital platforms.

• Ariba, Concur, SharePoint, Our Source, Workday, and in depth knowledge of department and/or company policies and procedures is preferred.

• This position will be based in Skillman NJ, with up to 10% local travel required, based upon business needs.
