Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Financial Contract Reporting Analyst with a curious mind and a passion for process improvement.  This role will provide you with an opportunity to join a team that is committed to ongoing process improvement. The Senior Financial Contract Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting with the Participations cash budget as well as reviewing Participations statements.  Position reviews and understands contractual agreements, ensuring that all financial obligations are met.  Additionally, the Senior Financial Contract Reporting Analyst will be responsible for brainstorming/implementing process improvement ideas, documenting changes to business processes, and ad-hoc special projects.  You will encounter new challenges every day but will be in good company and have an opportunity to learn about various aspects of the entertainment industry.
  • Forecast yearly/quarterly participation budget and forecast using constantly evolving methodologies.
  • Leveraging the Participations reporting system (Sylvester/PARIS), perform detailed participations cash flow modeling for film & television product utilizing known contractual reporting obligations, latest internal projections, various reports, and specialized media knowledge, i.e. windowing and release patterns, distribution cost trends, etc.
  • Conduct variance analysis of actual participations payments against budget/forecast.  
  • Prepare/review participation statements to ensure financial integrity and contractual compliance.
  • Identify potential improvements in cash forecasting and other business processes including reporting; make recommendations to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency while communicating any obstacles, challenges, enablers and successes.
  • Assist in special projects, process documentation, and ad-hoc analysis/research (e.g. participant and auditor queries, buyouts, SAP research, etc.).
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in participations, forecasting, process improvement, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud based collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams, Slack, Google Apps, JIRA), strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Agile methodology a plus.
  • Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple and changing priorities; ability to thrive in an environment that demands constant process changes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the Senior Financial Contract Reporting Analyst will be part of a collaborative team and interact with many business units, present to various staff levels, lead meetings & trainings, etc.
