Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, Technology for the Technology Finance department. The Senior Financial Analyst will:
  • Work with Technology clients to create the following major milestones:
    • Monthly Updates & Reporting
    • Quarterly forecasts
    • Annual Budgets
  • Collaborate with key Technology clients, Project Services, and Accounting, to identify accruals and other related journal entries during month end close.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis package of actuals vs. Budget/Forecast for assigned line items/cost types.
  • Proactively recommend updates to budgets/ forecasts and help identify ways to close gaps/ meet financial targets.
  • Prepare allocation reporting  and project (both capital and expense) reporting.
  • Assist with operational support for capital planning & reporting processes including project setup.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 3+ years experience working in a financial planning and analysis organization within a large company, focused on budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and monthly close process
  • An understanding of financial accounting policies as they relate to the P/L and Balance Sheet
  • Experience supporting Technology organization (preferred)
