If you have the talent and desire to touch the world, Johnson & Johnson has the career opportunities to help make it happen.   The Senior Finance Manager Consumer - Worldwide Business Development is responsible for directing and/or performing advanced, professional, independent and objective financial and business analyses of both new and existing business development opportunities utilizing a broad knowledge of financial and valuation modeling and analytical skills.   The key responsibilities include the following: He/she will collaborate with Business Development partners to provide financial leadership and influence in analyzing and framing value creating new business development opportunities (acquisitions, licenses, divestitures, and other deal structures). He/she will also collaborate cross-functionally and at multiple levels of the organization to develop solutions and business case assessments with varying levels of scope and complexity. Additionally, he/she will manage organizational complexity of frequent interaction amongst local and international J&J operating companies, several J&J Corporate functions (Treasury, Tax, Legal, Controller, Compliance, etc), and across several business functions, including Sales & Marketing, Operations, and R&D. He/she will also develop business cases and financial valuation models for a variety of business development opportunities, including long term cash flow and capital structure analysis, as well as interpret and apply GAAP and tax legislation into financial analysis of deal agreements. Additionally, he/she will identify and influence deal structures to maximize value and minimize risk as well as develop and present compelling business recommendations to senior executive management, including Management Boards, Group Operating Committee, and J&J Corporate stakeholders. He/she will lead pre/post acquisition Due Diligence efforts as well as ensure appropriate financial processes and systems related to Business Development Finance are in place and working effectively. Other responsibilities include analysis of budgeting and forecasting, interaction with financial reporting on business development activities, valuation, risk analysis, advanced modeling, market research, business case development and support for post-acquisition analysis and reviews. 
• A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required, preferably with a major in finance or accounting.   • Practical experience in business development finance, banking, or corporate finance role and strong financial modeling experience is preferred.  • CPA, CMA, MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in finance or accounting is required.  • Strong technical modeling skills in Microsoft Excel, strong financial analysis, system skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, General Ledger, etc.) and the ability to pick up new systems quickly are required. • The ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to various levels of the organization, including leadership is preferred.  • Practical experience with modeling tools is preferred.  • Effective communication, presentation, influencing, leadership and negotiating skills are required.  • Ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment is required. • Prior people and project managerial experience is preferred.  • Practical experience with deal or evaluation is preferred.  • This position may require up to 10% domestic or international travel.   • This position is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
