Senior-Data Analysis

Working as a Senior Data Analyst, you will work directly with the client user community and business analysts to define and document data requirements as the foundation for database marketing execution. You will also help determine and document data mapping rules for movement of data between applications or for population of new databases.Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and promote the use of data administration standards
  • Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts
  • Create and sustain processes, tools, and on-going support structures that enable reuse and efficiency
  • Investigate and resolve data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format and function
  • Create and populate meta-data into repositories
  • Responsible for validating and executing test cases based upon system requirements
  • Maintain/organize data where information must be compiled on multiple consumer products
  • Responsibilities may also include:
    • Create data flow diagrams and process models and integrates models across functional areas and platforms
    • Quality control and auditing of databases, resolving data problems, and analyzing system changes for quality assurance
    • Work on multiple projects concurrently across organizations


Additional Information:
Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years marketing/database marketing experience
  • At least 3 years experience with telco, Uverse, and wireless data
  • At least 2 years experience with DirecTV data/processes
  • Ability & willingness to document business requirements for small database marketing solutions
  • Ability to conduct research and coordinate small database marketing solutions from written business requirements
  • People & language skills adequate to interact via phone & in person with IT colleagues, marketing peers, and marketing clients to develop and communicate regarding database marketing solutions
  • Experience with directing/assisting AT&T vendor partners for database marketing efforts
  • Ability and drive to do data research on questions and requirements without receiving specific directions
  • Ability & willingness to do a reasonable level of documentation related to database marketing solutions delivered (i.e. data dictionary or metadata input, general design documentation)
  • Database architecture and database design experience
  • Demonstrated quality and thoroughness in work products
