Senior Consultant – Digital, Global Product Integration

Overview


The Global Product Integration (GPI) team is a global team within the Customer Delivery organization.

With a focus on new products and services, the Global Product Integration team collaborates with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders across MasterCard to ensure the necessary customer onboarding processes, documentation, tools and trained delivery resources are in place prior to the launch of new products and services in the regions.



Global Product Integrators are the entry point into Customer Delivery for new Digital products and services. We enable Mastercard to deliver more, faster and better; through the development of flawless and scalable Customer implementation processes. We challenge the way we implement products and services at Mastercard, partnering with product and development teams through Product Management Excellence to ensure our products and services can be delivered at scale in a consistent and efficient manner.


Global Product Integrators ensure a simple and streamlined customer onboarding process by developing consistent and repeatable processes used globally by our delivery teams, resulting in a positive customer and employee implementation experience.

Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for defining the customer onboarding processes for new or significantly enhanced Mastercard digital products and services.
• Responsible for ensuring global consistency and delivery readiness of assigned Digital products
• Proactively articulates delivery implementation requirements towards business partners to achieve efficient,
flawless, fast and light customer touch onboarding
• Own the development of blueprints to consistently implement assigned digital products at scale
• Partners with the global digital product owners as part of the PME process to share delivery requirements and
validate product readiness delivery processes
• Partners with O&T to innovate and automate delivery processes, including identification and consolidation of
horizontal process challenges (e.g. API onboarding) faced across multiple product verticals
• Acts as a product and onboarding process subject matter expert for their assigned integration products and
services; providing technical product & process support to regional customer delivery teams and business partners
• Ensures application of PME framework, leveraging best practices and applying a consistent process definition
methodology
• Acts as the central point of contact towards GP&S Digital Product Owners and Regional Delivery Leads
• Ensures regional product delivery readiness for assigned Digital products
o Review and assess as part of the Global Product Management Excellence (PME) framework new / bespoke
product ideas, concepts and Go To Market approaches for delivery and broader commercialization impacts.
o Ensures consistent customer onboarding processes and documentation is available for delivery teams to
ensure quality customer implementations
o Proactively captures and shares onboarding best practices / enhancement requirements to improve future
product development and customer onboarding processes
o Ensure delivery resources are trained on the Product and Customer onboarding processes to enable the
smooth transition of delivery ready products and services to the Regions
• Leads regular, ongoing and formal business reviews with GP&S and O&T regarding product performance and
improvement opportunities (i.e. automation)/ delivery challenges, incorporating Regional delivery feedback

o Understanding of payment ecosystem and value chain
o Core and emerging product understanding
o Six Sigma and SAFe accreditation a plus
o Consulting mindset or product development experience a plus
o Project management accreditation a plus (e.g. PRINCE2 / AGILE project management)
o Language skills a plus
