Senior Business Manager – Advertising & Analytics Business Operations

The AT&T Advertising & Analytics Business Operations function is a team of shared resources that support the entire business.  While the organization falls within the larger AT&T company, they act in a start-up mode in order to drive significant growth in the business.  The organization ensures cross-functional involvement and Stakeholdering of key initiatives and programs. While developing a team of cross-functional resources, this ensures not only best outcome on key programs, but by doing so in the most cost-effective manner.  The Advertising and Analytics Business Operations team will prioritize four pillars of work – Risk Mitigation, Resource Prioritization, Organization Alignment and Workforce Productivity.  This specific function is in support of aWorkforce Productivityindividual contributor.

  • Risk Mitigation:Put in the proper controls and visibility to ensure financial and asset risk is appropriately managed across AdCo
  • Resource PrioritizationImplement a transparent approach to prioritizing resources in alignment with business priorities
  • Operational Alignment Create a cadence of reporting and performance measurement around key company initiatives
  • Workforce Productivity Ensure tools, workspace, policies, and procedures maximize employee productivity while ensuring effective engagement

Position Summary

The Senior Business Manager in Advertising & Analytics Business Operations will be responsible for leading technical programs aimed at finding the proper tools that can be leveraged across all of AdCo. The position role holder is expected to build technical plans for AdCo focused on collaboration tools, project management tools, and automation.  The role holder should have a high degree of familiarity (including the selection and deployment of)  project management tool options (e.g. Smartsheets, Microsoft Project), collaboration tools options (e.g. Slack), and automation tool & reporting capabilities (e.g. Automation Anywhere, Microservices, Business Intelligence).

Given the role will be technical focus, the role holder should have experience selecting and deploying software, developing associated technical architecture, and ensuring that it works and fits in the IT environment.  While the role holder will be responsible for researching, deploying, and maintaining such technology, they should also have the ability to complete and develop automation of repeatable tasks (either through automation or machine learning) to help reduce manual work.  The role holder willlead organizational transformation by assessing current processes, recommending new technology, and deploying the agreed upon software.  They will support large cross-functional teams including Sales, Chief Data Office, Chief Technology Office, Marketing, Strategy and Corporate functions in delivering new technology and recommendations



Additional Information:

Requirements

·5 to
7 years experience within a technical or operational role, preferably in media
or advertising

·Strong
familiarity with agile methods (e.g. Scrum Master)

·Enhanced
analytical, quantitative, technical, and business abilities

·Strong
proficiencies in all Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Project,
Word, Visio

·Proficiency with program to automate jobs
(example: Python, HTML, XML, Java Script, SQL)

·Ability to work in a start-up environment, fast
pace, and quick response times for delivery

·Strong executive and program management
communication skills

Accreditation, Certification, or Licenses

·Education in Computer Science or other science
field / relevant work experience

·Certificate in Technical fields such as PMP,
Certified ScrumMaster, Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control
(CRISC),  or Microsoft Office Specialist

·Automation work experience or accreditation
