The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

Analytics & Decision Support (ADS) is seeking for a Senior Analytic Specialist Part Time role to join their team in Charlotte. ADS is the Operations Center of Excellence (COE) for Analytics and manages performance information, reporting and analytics. The key responsibilities for the role to include:

  • Provide reports, visualizations and dashboard for Operations functions with the initial focus specifically for Enterprise Utility Services
  • Plan and perform analyses to solve a variety of business issues
  • Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial data, process documentation, customer/demographic data, etc.; summarizes and presents findings; may offer alternatives to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, compliance, etc.
  • Work with users to gather business requirements and analytical needs; identifies and recommends potential data sources; compiles/mines data from a variety sources;
  • Develops specific, customized reports, ad hoc analyses, and/or data visualizations.
  • Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
  • May partner with technology and/or with other business groups.

*****This position is a flexible working about 20 hours per week and it is not eligible for benefits. It is only posted to Charlotte Customer Information Center (CIC) location only.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis

Desired Qualifications

  • Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Operations and Enterprise Utility Services
  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting formats
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $46,100 Mid: $64,000
