Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting for the Financial Reporting department.  This Senior Analyst provides support related to the analysis and consolidation of the worldwide balance sheet results for the companies comprising Warner Bros. and reporting those results to senior management and Time Warner.   More specifically, in this role you may:
  • Balance Sheet Reporting & Analysis        
    • Support financial statement closes and preparation / presentation of related deliverables including Time Warner financial package, footnote disclosures, balance sheet fluctuation analysis and other management reports.
    • Be responsible for certain monthly and quarterly financial closing activities including equity reconciliations, investment eliminations and review and monitoring of key balance sheet accounts.
    • Assist with balance sheet data issues affecting the transmission of financial statements to Time Warner and resolution of management inquires.
  • SAP/BW Reporting        
    • Maintain and manage Business Warehouse reporting for balance sheet reports and analyticals. 
    • Create ad hoc reports to address senior management requests.
  • Audit Support / Special Projects        
    • Provide supporting schedules and analysis for auditors and financial compliance groups.
    • Provide assistance/support to other areas within the financial reporting group as required.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • 3+ years applicable experience
  • CPA or MBA (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in the SAP or similar applications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of financial closing, consolidations and reporting on a global scale
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to quickly assess situations, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
