Securities Finance and Funding Software Engineer

Job Description
 Partner with product SME’s, Treasury, and Risk Management stakeholders to develop a strategic analytics platform to optimize the dealer’s funding & financing needs
 Liaise with the Front Office on requirements and serve as subject matter expert for the product
 In-depth analysis on trades and products across TDS and their overall impact on the dealer's funding position
 Drive and facilitate data on-boarding from source systems onto the target solution
 Essential:
o Derivatives pricing and cross-asset product knowledge
o Working experience with in-house or commercial analytics libraries
o Knowledge of funding, cash and liquidity management
o Hands-on expertise with business intelligence and data analytics
o Trading platform expertise with both in-house and vendor systems

 Participate in discussion groups with business users in order to provide best of the breed solution to the business problems
 Develop and maintain relationships with Client(s), Business Analysts and Project Managers
 Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives and providing client services
 Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
Job Requirements
 Deliver high quality code based on established software engineering practices
 Be able to own a task from start to finish with minimal supervision
 Review peers' code in a constructive and objective manner
 Establish and/or follow established testing procedures, standards and processes.
 Partner with other teams to build integrated solutions by leveraging services (API) and/or software (libraries) developed by other teams

 Essential:
o Strong knowledge of Java or other object-oriented languages
o Solid understanding of test-driven development
o Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems (Kafka, Tibco RV, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ,)
o Good understanding of the Linux operating system
o Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
o Experience with SQL or other database experience
o Proficient in asynchronous and concurrent programming
o JSON or XML experience
