The Salesforce Technology Lead will be a team member of Innovation Technologies group and will provide technology support to Wells Fargo Innovation Group. Working in partnership with the Innovation Group’s business team, this Technology Lead will support the Wells Fargo Accelerator application and other Salesforce targeted solutions. This team member responsibilities includes the following:

  • Develop and support application solutions using Salesforce tools and best practices and a complex technology environment.
  • Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
  • Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
  • Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
  • Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
  • Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
  • Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
  • Coordinates development team releases with Salesforce COE team, along with business analysts, quality assurance, release management, and other technology team members and managers.
  • Provides technical guidance to onshore/offshore development team members.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to partner closely with the Enterprise Innovation Group. There will be frequent interactions with business stakeholders, senior management, project managers, technology managers, technology relationship managers, architecture teams, information security and the infrastructure support organization.  A strong partnership with Enterprise IT technology teams will be of critical importance, especially for initiatives that have a trajectory toward production.



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce developer experience

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of Java experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • 1+ year of change management experience
  • 1+ year of financial services experience
  • Experience defining and/or developing business initiatives that require integration of multiple technology systems
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Salesforce advance or developer’s certification
  • 5+ years of design and development of technology solutions from a broad spectrum of technologies including Mobile, Java, .NET, Objective-C, web services and various flavors of relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience working in integrated technology environments with a variety of software and infrastructure components and interfaces.
  • Experience working with startup companies and emerging technologies
  • Experience with banking and finance technology and applications.


Job Expectations

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
