Based in our New York Technology Hub, the Sales Administrative Assistant role will support the Digital sales team and broader Digital organization to manage and administer all day to day processes among the client facing team.  This position will consistently interact and collaborate with all digital functions including: Finance; Legal; Product; Delivery & Analytics; Research & Development and Operations .

 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Organize and orchestrate all logistics and details for client meetings  requests for CSRs as needed.
  • Participate in client conference calls and monthly sales calls as needed.
  • Support the CSRs on a day to day basis including gathering client materials from various Nielsen teams and communicating back to the client.
  • Provide coverage/ backup for CSRs during periods of travel or vacation when needed.
  • Prepare, enhance and distribute internal and external communications including management of email distribution lists.
  • Utilize/Maintain and update account information within Salesforce.com as well as budget schedules
  • Support team with ad hoc projects as needed.  Involved in special projects that require confidentiality.
  • Ensure all contracts  are processed according to company standards.
  • Research key client contacts for key meetings, providing intelligence on participants, roles, profiles etc.
  • Assist in Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Assist in creating and cleaning up proposals, briefs, and presentations
  • Assist in creating training documentation and training curriculum and courses
  • Assist in competitive intelligence gathering
  • Help client service team with client invoicing issue liaising with both the internal Nielsen finance team and client to resolve any payment issues.

 

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in all of Microsoft Office products; Proficiency in Google programs preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred
  • Strong organizational skills; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to proactively manage complex calendars and meetings.  
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sense of urgency
