Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks an Analyst for the Financial Contracts Reporting & Administration DC Comics Royalty department.  The FCRA Participations department handles contractual reporting to talent that provide services and create new characters for DC Comics.  It’s an exciting, fast paced organization that provides a unique opportunity to learn many aspects of DC Comics, the publishing business, including the inter-relationship between publishing, merchandising, TV, Theatrical and Games.  FCRA provides excellent opportunities to learn the entertainment industry and offers a robust year-round training program.  

The Royalty Reporting Analyst will:
  • Prepare participations royalty statements, leveraging a new state-of-the-art publishing system, WB’s enterprise SAP platform, existing tools, and analytical methodologies.
  • Read and understand abstracts, legal agreements, and other related written documentation.
  • Prepare payment requests and perform the necessary procedures to ensure accuracy for statement distribution.
  • Perform current and historical data analysis and verify that reporting is in accordance with contractual agreements. 
  • Support system development efforts and testing of system enhancements.
  • Attend department technical and conceptual training sessions and cross-divisional forums as needed. 
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Information Systems preferred)
  • 1-2 years applicable experience, ideally within the publishing or entertainment industry
  • Very strong to expert proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to read and understand digests and abstracts of legal agreements
  • A team player with high-level of interpersonal skills and customer-focus
  • A detail-oriented quick learner and results-oriented self-starter with strong analytical, multitasking and organizational skills
