Revenue Assurance Analyst

Description About the Position : Help develop, facilitate and implement Revenue Assurance strategy focusing on data analysis, identification of revenue opportunities and process improvement in order to reduce revenue leakage. Generate detailed analysis of portfolios in all customer systems ultimately making recommendations for strategic improvements. Design, develop and support production databases to maximize technology benefits driving operational improvement, effectiveness and efficiency. This role will support decision making and effective working at National Grid through quantitative and qualitative analysis. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Identify and analyze Revenue Assurance strategic opportunities identifying credit matrix and static table changes. Implement changes and test. Challenge existing ways of working and continuously seek ways to drive greater efficiencies within assigned area. Develop and maintain analytical systems, models and procedures in order to support design solutions and enhance time / consistency / safety / efficiency and operability. Support the Detectent revenue protection program by analyzing monthly and quarterly performance metrics. Build tools that enable Revenue Assurance management to define and implement strategic decisions and programs. Analyze customer system data pertaining to Revenue Assurance policies, performance and regulatory rules governing customer patterns and activity. Build and execute test plans for Revenue Assurance customer system program changes and regulatory system enhancements. Maintain and provide information such as regulatory information in order to ensure regulators and other stakeholders are kept up to date with relevant National Grid policies, processes and programs. Monitor and review financial information, updating where necessary in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and accurate information. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business process improvement or information systems required. 2-5 years of In-depth knowledge or experience p referred. Working knowledge of CSS & CRIS customer systems with the ability to query specific Revenue Assurance information and regulatory requests. Along with working knowledge of SQL, SSRS, HTML, Visual Basic, .NET, Microsoft Suite. Analyze and update Revenue Assurance tables with the ability to design and build databases and tools that supports departmental programs, processes and new initiatives. Strong financial analytical skills with in depth knowledge of Revenue Assurance policies and procedures. Ability to lead and deliver improvement projects, as well as challenge and support colleagues to improve performance.
