Registered Nurse - RN -Supervisor Clinical Operations

Job Description
As a Nurse Supervisor (RN) in our Clinical Operations Department, you will practice your leadership and clinical skills in a non-traditional nursing environment on a national level. You will lead a nursing team providing telephonic health assessments, appropriate clinical instruction and education with members in multiple disease populations. You will provide coaching with your team to develop deep relationships with members and/or their caregivers functioning as a resource and advocate to enhance quality of care. The Nurse Supervisor will use excellent written and verbal skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners.

As a Nurse Supervisor (RN) you will.....
* Supervise and evaluate daily activities of assigned Clinical Operations staff.
*Monitor team staffing needs and Clinical Operations staff to patient ratios and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
*Perform quality reviews for direct reports as outlined in the policy for quality reviews and perform monthly telephone monitoring for compliance with departmental procedures. Participate in the quality improvement program as required.
*Identify training and growth needs for direct reports and facilitate as appropriate.
* Assist with annual evaluations for all direct reports
* Evaluate and recommend Continuous Quality Improvement activities to best meet the needs of the health plan and the Company.
*Participate in professional development activities support the Company's goals and objectives
*Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current license in state of residence and the ability to be licensed in all states
* Minimum 5 years as an RN- recent clinical experience preferably in a hospital, home care or similar setting.
* Minimum one year telephonic/telehealth experience in health care
* Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications
* Certified Case Manager certification is a plus
* Previous Supervisory experience highly preferred
* Epic software experience
* Bilingual-Spanish
* Existing RN multi state licensure

Education
RN Diploma, Associates or BS degree in Nursing
