Regional Digital Manager- Chicago remote

Description, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently hiring Regional Digital Managers with automotive and digital advertising expertise to join our Subaru team. Travel for this role is up to 50%.
The Regional Digital Manager is responsible for the Cox Automotive digital marketing strategy development and execution within an OEM region.  They develop and maintain influential relationships with key regional OEM marketing and sales contacts in our exclusive OEM programs. They leverage those relationships to ensure the ongoing success of by identifying and acting on opportunities to increase retention, product adoption, advertising spend and overall customer satisfaction across the program. They also partner with the OEM Services Manager to lead the in-dealership Digital Performance Consultatnts who are the primary account managers within the OEM region.
  • Present at national, regional, dealer summits and VIP in-dealership meetings on digital marketing strategy, best practices, industry trends and solutions, both in-person and via webinar.
  • Build and foster relationships with key OEM regional stakeholders 
  • Deliver business reviews with key OEM regional stakeholders to ensure their expectations are being met and we are fully immersed in their business needs.
  • Develop and drive the strategy and efforts of our in-dealership Digital Performance Consultants.
  • Monitor performance metrics, external factors, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategy to be implemented by Digital Performance Consultants.
  • Lead weekly meetings with Digital Performance Consultant team within region to communicate strategy and digital marketing initiatives within region.
  • Proactive outreach via phone and in-person to dealer council members the OEM’s National Retailer Advisory Board, a group of top dealers selected by the OEM to be the voice of the dealer body who are extremely influential, to ensure positive sentiment towards OEM program.
  • Works with Account Directors and Client Solutions Managers to deliver company revenue targets through regional engagement.
  • Develop and deliver performance analysis reporting and case studies that illustrate best practices and create opportunities to leverage our solutions.
  • Identifies potential Dealership and OEM program escalations. Works quickly to find appropriate solutions, bringing together any necessary resources to resolve issues to the OEM stakeholder’s satisfaction in a timely manner.


  • 5+ Years Automotive Experience
  • 5+ Years Agency Experience
  • BA in related field required, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ Years of Management Experience
  • Ability to develop relationships and influence executive level clients.
  • Experience leading a successful team.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing strategy for websites and advertising (SEM, display, SEO, Google Ads,Bing, etc.) 
  • Understanding of dealership operations.
  • Advanced written, verbal and phone communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels within the dealership.
  • Demonstrated advanced customer service skills and outstanding relationship management capabilities.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment.
  • Personal qualities and style requirements include possessing high energy, enthusiasm, resilience, determination, proactiveness, relentless and being highly driven. 
  • Proficiency in using SalesForce.
  • Computer proficiency including MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, broad website concepts, website analytics tools, and Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Able to travel as necessary, anticipated 40-50% depending on market. Travel includes overnight stays in markets and travel to team meetings
