PT Marketing Research Assistant - Hershey's Chocolate World

Job Location: Hershey, PA

 

As part of the Guest Experience team the Marketing Research Assistant will work with the Research Analyst to coordinate and conduct research activities including surveys and intercepts with guests at Hershey’s Chocolate World to support consumer insights and marketing research for Global THE (The Hershey Experience). Marketing Research Assistants must be comfortable approaching and recruiting guests to participate in research surveys. Surveys are conducted utilizing iPads. Researchers may be required to help visitors navigate through the iPad survey and answer general questions pertaining to Hershey’s Chocolate World. This position also requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects the individual to be: approachable; courteous; knowledgeable about our products; able to clearly communicate with guests and assist them with questions; and able to provide general information to guests with a high level of professionalism. The required skills will be learned primarily through on-the-job training. This position provides an ideal opportunity to learn to execute Marketing Research surveys utilizing the Qualtrics Platform. College students encouraged.

 

In addition, this positon is to provide quality guest experience by upholding the Guest Experience Standards, (SMILE)

 

Must be available to work a flexible schedule. This position requires the ability to work weekday shifts (11am – 3:00pm) or weekend shifts (11am – 3:00pm, noon-4:00pm) as needed to support special research projects.

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Conduct research activities including surveys and intercepts with guests at Hershey’s Chocolate World.

Approach and recruit guests to participate in research surveys.

Learn basic skills to conduct surveys utilizing iPads and help visitors navigate through the iPad survey.

Assist guests with answers to general questions pertaining to Hershey’s Chocolate World.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:  

 

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be comfortable approaching and recruiting guests to participate in research surveys
  • Able to learn to use iPad
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow co-workers
  • This job requires sitting/standing/walking which may at times be for prolonged periods
  • There will be repetitive motion of the fingers, hands, and wrists during keyboarding

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:  

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred but not required
  • Marketing experience preferred but not required
