We are looking for a versatile Project Manager to manage high-profile Warner Bros. Entertainment projects that are passionately shaping the future of consumer entertainment. This role will coordinate software development projects, support team processes, release cycles, and project stakeholder communication. This role will require the individual to wear many hats in a fast-paced media and technology environment. The Project Manager position will work closely with our Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations teams on a variety of large OTT (over-the-top) video projects.
  • Simultaneously support a variety of projects across multiple entertainment channels & technologies.
  • Own project status and project scoping information in the form of project reports & formal briefings.
  • Manage project schedules, meeting agendas, and documentation around exciting entertainment products.
  • Create and maintain process workflow documents to support business plans.
  • Propose continuous process improvements to promote efficiency across teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans as needed.
  • Oversee team capacity and allocate team resources to best reach projected milestone dates.
  • Interact with Engineering, QA, Ops, and Product Managers to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Manage project status and information in the form of project reports & formal briefings.
What do we require from you?
  • 5+ years of project management experience in an interactive tech or media environment, experience in product management a plus.
  • BS or BA degree required; CAPM/PMP/Any Scrum & Agile certification, a plus.
  • Expert in Agile; experience implementing Agile processes from scratch, a plus.
  • Experience implementing software / web development projects in a start-up environment.
  • Strong understanding of business and functional requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competencies in JIRA/Github, issue tracking software tools and other related project management and communications tools.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about new technologies & work on a variety of digital projects across multiple platforms.
  • Experience in account/client management.
  • You are an obsessive list maker and task-master who gets great pleasure from keeping others organized, communicating with both technical and business types, and ensuring your projects are delivered on time.
  • You are a mix of project manager and product manager: you can write specs, understand technical requirements, and are able to guide a product-based projects from conception to launch.
  • You have experience with Agile/Scrum software development, and are curious in running analysis in search of constant process improvements.
