It all begins with you.  The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products.  Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.  Wells Fargo Virtual Channels (WFVC) is part of the Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI) business division. WFVC serves consumer and small business customers through digital (online, mobile, and social) and contact centers (phone, email, and correspondence). We provide customers with convenient ways to manage their accounts, enable digital payments, provide solutions that meet their financial needs, and more. WFVC serves over 27 million customers through our digital channels and support over 5.8 billion customer interactions annually through digital and contact centers.    The Contact Center Sales Strategy team is responsible for the strategy and product management of contact center engagements aimed at deepening relationships.  The team is looking for a strong candidate to lead product management for service offerings within the Financial Health Education program.   These offerings engage business and consumer customers and prospects to assess and improve aspects of their finances, utilizing Wells Fargo products and services where applicable to monitor progress and ultimately reach their goals.   The selected individual will play a key role in helping to continuously improve value-added conversations and engagements that our bankers can have with customers.  Where possible, this role will also work with Digital and Branch channel partners to create capabilities which complement these service offerings. In this role you will be responsible for providing product management leadership and expertise to develop and implement capabilities that help customers understand their financial picture, assess their financial needs, and take appropriate steps to meet their financial goals.   You will utilize your leadership, product management, strategy, analysis, creativity, competitive research, collaboration, and product development skills to effectively work with other group leaders, product managers, technology resources, partners, vendors, and other organizational units.  Your outputs will include developing and gaining approval for strategic improvements, obtaining funding and piloting as necessary, then assessing and overseeing large scale deployment.  Also included are working with partner groups, digital channel representatives, and enterprise marketing contacts to drive awareness and volume to these capabilities. As a Product Manager 4, your primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to: Lead Strategic Vision for Financial Health engagements
  • Partner closely with channel and LOB leaders to drive strategy for omni-channel experience related to Financial Health Education capabilities
  • Maintain awareness of external financial health landscape and fintech environment to benchmark capabilities, identify gaps and best practices, and lead improvement efforts
  • Synthesize existing customer research and / or charter new research efforts to understand customer needs and drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance to ensure that strategy and plan mitigates bank risk
  • Take the lead on creating business cases to support investment for implementing strategic vision
Lead Concept and Product Development activities
  • Define and implement a strategic roadmap with inputs from leadership, partners, and other sources
  • Ensure alignment across partner groups to support strategy and roadmap so that partner groups’ efforts support strategy and implementation timeline
  • Create and implement strategies to drive high banker and customer adoption of FHE capabilities
  • Support strategic business and customer analysis to identify areas of opportunity and use the results to resolve problems and improve the customer experience
  • Coordinate and enforce Quality Assurance standards to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement a marketing approach to develop awareness and utilization of capabilities through cooperation with enterprise marketing and partner group resources

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 3+ years of program management experience
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Experience in product management, business analysis, marketing, operations and/or strategic/consulting in a consumer oriented, technology dependent environment, in financial services or related industries
  • Ability to consolidate large amounts of project status information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays, and issues that pose material risk
  • Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
  • Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to simultaneously lead multiple projects
  • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: creation of business cases, project initiation, development of comprehensive business requirements, and identification of project interdependencies
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Community Banking Retail Store Model and/or WFVC/Contact Center Model
  • Strong presentation skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in an organization that plans and builds large scale, multi-constituency or virtual initiatives
  • Understanding of the Digital channel and its application toward sales and service functionality

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
