Product Management Specialist, Stable Value

About the position

Prudential Retirement’s Investment and Pension Solutions group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Product Manager to support our Stable Value business including product and market development efforts.

Prudential Retirement provides financial wellness solutions, including investments and recordkeeping, for the Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Non-Qualified and Individual markets. Currently our client base includes 3,500 corporate, governmental, non-profit and Taft Hartley plan sponsors and more than 4.2 million individuals.

Within Prudential Retirement, Investment and Pension Solutions is responsible for developing the fixed income portfolio guarantee (Stable Value) products that constitute one of the significant revenue contributors within the Prudential enterprise. Prudential enjoys a strong leadership position in the Stable Value marketplace and has developed a block of business of over $120 billion in account values as of December 31, 2017.

Role Description:


Work closely with the industry leading Stable Value team to support existing and new business. The candidate will also assist with execution and management of multiple strategic initiatives for new business, products and markets. The successful candidate will have a desire to deliver high-quality results as part of a high performing team, to learn continuously and to expand his or her responsibilities significantly through time.

Qualifications
  • Three or more years of financial services experience required. Focus in Product Management a plus
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Knowledge of retirement market and/or investment products. Fixed income/Stable Value familiarity a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, manage, influence, and execute on projects and transactions
  • Excellent decision making skills and driven to achieve results
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to work across Prudential Retirement and other Prudential divisions
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and an ability to successfully engage across diverse disciplines and levels of the organization
  • Leadership capabilities demonstrated through previous work experience, achievements, and/or extracurricular activities (i.e. community leadership)
