Product Management Specialist, Marketing Enablement

About the position

Prudential is seeking a Marketing Enablement, Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Marketing capabilities in financial services or similar highly technical yet service-oriented industries. The person filling this role will be instrumental in guiding the requirements of Prudential’s Marketing capabilities and ensuring successful adoption of new features and functionality.

This role requires a cross-functional customer centric view into Prudential’s several business units including retirement/401K, group insurance, asset management, life insurance and annuities. The right person will have good mix of understanding customer needs, as well as internal Marketing operations and processes that impact customer experience.

As a Marketing Enablement focused Product Manager, you will help shape, direct and execute our Marketing capabilities roadmap. Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Product Manager of multiple Marketing Enablement initiatives and act as a liaison between initiative owners and technology teams
  • Work closely with leadership to develop and maintain the product vision and strategy
  • Help develop and drive Prudential’s marketing product roadmap, driving critical capabilities from concept to delivery
  • Effectively communicate the vision to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead project prioritization discussions to determine development portfolio priorities
  • Use Agile methodologies to drive and deliver enterprise scale marketing capabilities to support marketing strategies and operations
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to translate business needs into requirements documents and user stories for development teams to implement
  • Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, our customers and our partners
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (2+ years) in digitally enabled businesses

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with Agile

  • Experience using Agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies strongly preferred

  • Understanding of consumer Marketing capabilities (Marketing Automation, Personalization, Offer/Promotion Management, etc.)

  • Experience working with Marketing and Sales platforms (Eloqua, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; expert in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Extremely detail oriented with teamwork skills and the ability to work across functional teams and all levels of the organization

  • Ability to excite and lead others in a highly collaborative environment

  • Experience in financial services a huge plus
