Product Director, Data and Integrations

The Product Director, Data and Integrations for ‘Sales and F&I’ contributes to the reporting and integrations roadmap and vision for DealerTrack F&I. The candidate must have experience in product management, agile development, data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. 
The Product Director, Data and Integrations is responsible for working with various solution groups, departments, development teams, and other Product Managers to effectively communicate, document, and execute on requirements in alignment with the ‘Sales and F&I’ vision for Cox Automotive.
The Product Director, Data and Integrations must consistently monitor and understand current product performance as well as rapidly define and drive development of new, differentiating offerings and key platform enablers that allow Cox Automotive to be well positioned in the marketplace. Additionally, this role requires a high-level technical understanding of web applications, data modeling, and excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
Principle Duties
  • Drive product strategy and direction that that translates into high value customer features
  • Support the SFI vision of delivering a suite of integrated technologies by demonstrating a complete workflow among all solutions to sales prospects and current clients
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned applications, including providing regular updates and team training
  • Develop product roadmaps to communicate the vision of the products to stakeholders
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and building cross-solution relationships
  • Inspire creativity across product development by demonstrating strong strategic thinking, a crisp articulation of market and technology trends that impact automotive retail and lending
  • Must be hands-on, results-driven, and possess a sense of urgency
  • Manage business stakeholder communication of key information, decisions, status, and timelines
  • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of Connect CRM and DealerTrack F&I applications and customer needs, as well as other business units within Cox Automotive
  • Work with team to proactively identify work, communicate, and resolve project issues and risks that interfere with project execution or success
  • Assist in development/distribution of marketing materials around new products/changes
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment where information must be readily digested and decisions made expeditiously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, development, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Unique blend of business and technical savvy skills as well as an innovative perspective on problem solving
  • Familiarity and comfort working with product teams delivering product via agile with scrum or other enterprise agile approaches
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, analytical, and listening skills
  • Demonstrated success as a Product Manager in product lifecycle management including:
    • Developing and launching new products or features
    • Developing opportunity assessments and/or business cases
    • Developing concept and product definitions
    • Product monitoring and evaluation
    • Product optimization and extension
    • Soft skills to quickly gain the confidence, trust and support of internal clients and stakeholders
    • Excellent written, presentation, communication and listening skills
    • Strong problem solving experience
  • Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
    • Automotive industry
    • Finance/Lending industry
    • CRM 
    • Familiarity with data science, machine learning, BI tools
