Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

Wells Fargo's Legal Specialty Group (LSG) is a division of the Private Bank and delivers financial solutions to both law firms and their partners. LSG professionals tailor a comprehensive suite of solutions and services to meet each client’s goals. The position of Client Associate works directly with a LSG Senior Private Banker, providing support for account administration, sales activities and relationship management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a main contact for clients regarding inquiries and requests including wires and account openings, and credit requests.
  • Analyze and monitor client accounts, interacting frequently with clients to manage existing client accounts as well as potential new business opportunities across product lines.
  • Act as the hub to other divisions of the bank to manage client relationships and respond to client needs; example, Treasury Services, Foreign Exchange, securities trading staff.
  • Develop strong product knowledge and client relationship management skills to meet the financial needs of clients.
  • Attend client meetings and cross-sell products and services to existing clients . Deepen and broaden the relationship, including referrals.
  • Prepare client correspondence and customized professional client presentation materials to support sales/marketing efforts.
  • Research and resolve operational issues related to complex accounts.
  • Maintain pipeline database of client product sales opportunities and of opportunities actually booked for Senior Private Banker.
  • Stay on top of compliance requirements and implement appropriately as accounts are opened through the "Know Your Client" program.

 Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (M-F)



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative experience, sales support experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commercial banking experience
  • Client support experience
  • Legal experience



Job Expectations

  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site (http://fedregistry.nationwidelicensingsystem.org ) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary.
