PRINCIPAL-SCRUM MASTER

The AT&T Mobility & Entertainment (M&E) organization is seeking a Principal Scrum Master to join our team in our El Segundo, CA offices as part of a large Agile team building leading edge digital entertainment products.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Scrum Master who embodies servant-leadership and can effectively manage scrum-of-scrums. In this role, you will be serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) by helping to guide, coach and lead an Agile Release Train (ART) composed of scrum teams, product owners, and scrum masters in a fast-paced and exciting environment.  You will play a role in determining the success of a highly-visible and strategic program. Most importantly, you'll be engaged in meaningful work for a business that is bringing an integrated, seamless and smart entertainment experience delivered to virtually any screen, anywhere and anytime.

Responsibilities include:


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner

  • 3+ years as a Program Manager in a large enterprise environment dealing with both Agile and Waterfall teams

  • Experience with Agile at scale in large enterprise organizations in a managerial capacity

  • Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org certifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAFe (SA or SPC certifications preferred)

  • Deep knowledge and discipline in Agile to effectively coach and guide teams in Agile methods and mindset

  • Superior mentoring, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to effectively tailor communications to developers, managers and executives

  • Experience with JIRA and Agile Craft a plus

  • Experience working with distributed teams a plus
