Pharmacy Technician work at home and shift differential pay!

Role: Pharmacy TechnicianAssignment: Clinical Services - Mail Order PharmacyLocation: Glendale, AZ office for 6 months, then work at homeSchedule: New hires in Arizona can expect to be hired into an 11:30am-8pm shift (you can work you way up to earlier shifts) Monday-Friday with a rotating Saturday shift every 3 weeks from 8am-4:30pm. This is a full-time 40 hour/week position with over-time as needed. ** Earn a $500 hiring bonus! Bonus is paid after 180 days of employment; you must be employed until that date to be eligible to receive the payment. Assignment Capsule Are you interested in working from home after about 6 months at the Humana office (must live within commuting distance of the Glendale, AZ office)? Would you like the chance to earn a 12% shift differential? That's about $2/hr higher pay for hours worked after 6pm. Our Clinical Services team has openings for Pharmacy Technicians to work in a call-center environment with a team-oriented, positive culture. In this role you will:
  • Take inbound calls from Humana Pharmacy members.
  • Answer questions and resolve issues regarding mail order pharmacy inquiries.
  • Interact with physician's offices, hospitals, and members.
  • Meet metrics set by the department.
  • Facilitate positive service and pharmaceutical outcomes.

Role Essentials
  • Must have an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Arizona
  • Must be able to become certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 10 months of hire
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10 panel drug test
Role Desirables
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Mail Order Pharmacy experience
  • Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare
Reporting Relationships
  • Reports to a Frontline Leader.
Additional Information This department is open from 5am-8pm (6am-9pm during fall/winter Daylights savings) Monday-Friday and you must be willing to work a rotating Saturday shift every 3 weeks from 8am-4:30pm. New hires will be hired into the latest shift available, 11:30am-8pm, and will be able to work their way up to earlier shifts. Overtime and holidays may be required based on business need. There is no time off available within the first 90 days. Training is held of the first 2-3 weeks and it is fully paid, training shifts are typically between the hours of 7 or 8am and 3:30 or 4:30pm.
