Pharmacy Technician - Shipping

Job Description
As a Pharmacy Technician I – Shipping, you will be responsible for ordering, maintaining supply of inventory, and replenishing all supplies within the pharmacy department. The Pharmacy Technician is essential to assisting the pharmacy supervisors in maintaining appropriate supply records, charges and inventory control, and help with product specification and selection. The Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for expediting backorders and emergency orders to ensure critical shortages are resolved. As a backend pharmacy technician, you would also work as a liaison to the pharmacy team to promote standardization and utilization efforts. Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact shipping role.
As part of the Back-End Pharmacy Technician team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others.

- Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Able to use a 10 key pad
- Stand for the length of your shift

Required Qualifications
Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
Nationally Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
Picking and packing of orders experience.
Prior pharmacy technician/shipping experience.

Education
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
