Pharmacy Technician - Prescription Entry

Job DescriptionExciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the Mail Order Pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact customer service role and positively impact the lives of others.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will get to read, interpret and enter prescriptions into our system. As part of our Prescription Entry Team, you are empowered to partner with the pharmacists and route questionable prescriptions for resolution. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be able to utilize and sharpen your accuracy and efficiency in reading and interpreting prescriptions, and strengthen your data entry skills, which will have a positive impact on the pharmacy workflow. In addition, you will be responsible for resolving incomplete prescriptions after clarification is obtained. The most successful Pharmacy Technicians possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation and problem solving abilities.

Our pharmacy is conveniently located off major highways and offers an onsite cafeteria. This position is based out of the office in Mount Prospect, IL but has the potential to work from home once the required qualifications post-hire are met.

AMNHCRequired Qualifications- Illinois State Pharmacy Technician License.
- Must be Nationally Certified per Illinois State Regulations.
- Minimum 3 months of pharmacy technician experience.Preferred Qualifications- Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience, highly preferred, but not required.
