Pharmacy Technician - Lead Warehouse

Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing all the functions of the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all activities. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems. Enforces and leads in adhering to necessary safety and legal procedures of working.

Key Responsibilities:
-Communicate and implement changes as directed.
-Manage daily warehouse activities and audits.
-Manage processes and work flow within the department.
-Assigning work and functions to all warehouse staff.
-Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviors.
-Coordinate deliveries with drivers.
-Continuously improve warehouse operations to fit business needs.
-Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for employees.
-Assist Technicians with work flow when busy or short staff.
-Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
-Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

•Responsible for providing employees with timely, candid and constructive feedback; developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMRequired Qualifications-High school diploma
-3+ year experience in warehouse/shipping/logisticsPreferred Qualifications-Should have exceptional managerial leadership and decision making abilities.
-Strong interpersonal and motivational capabilities.
-Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
-Associates Degree
