We are seeking a paralegal for the Structured Products & Commercial Services Section.  Specifically, this position would be providing support for the Mortgage Banker Finance Group within the Asset Backed Finance division. The position involves assisting in transactional work related to mortgage lender financing by preparing transaction documents (such as lending agreements and inter-creditor agreements), notices, officers certificates and corporate resolutions, and reviewing and summarizing company formation documents and UCC lien searches. Additional responsibilities will include organizing existing digital storage of agreements, reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, and organizing and leading discrete projects to support the line of business. 



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a transactional support role for lending transactions
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas: corporate formation, asset-based lending or consumer protection
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


Job Expectations

  • Paralegal certification may be required in some states
